Studio
Based in the heart of the West End our studio is ideal for songwriting, live recording, overdubs, mixing, sound design, programming, voice over and foley.
An airy, comfortable live room with natural light provides a great environment for working. The fully sound insulated control room is ideal for mixing and programming.
A further break out space for meetings, along with access to a large reception area, makes the APOD Production Studio a creative, flexible and friendly place to work.
Equipment
Our studio comprises of an Intel-based Windows XP Pro rig running Nuendo, Cubase SX , Protools software and a comprehensive suite of UAD, TLC Electronics and Waves plugins.
For analogue/digital i/o we have an RME Hammerfall capable of up to 96khz/24bit recording, with ADAT optical I/O, ADAT-Sync In, SPDIF I/O, MIDI I/O, word clock I/O (BNC).
We have Neumann TLM103, Rode NT2 and Shure SM57 microphones and a 32:8:2 mixing console. Monitoring is provided through Genelec 1029A.
Production Team
We have over twenty years experience in music production, songwriting and remixing built on a successful live career in the 80s as alternative electronic band Kissing the Pink.
We have worked as producers, writers, and remixers for artists including: Xpress2, Aha, KKlass, Puppini Sisters, Gareth Gates, Shea Sager, Gem,
Candy Dulfer, Aswad, Kim Wilde,U2, Olive, Lighthouse Family,
The Shamen, Spice Girls and Paul Oakenfold.
Other specialist areas include composing and sound design for media companies
(MTV, Wieden & Kennedy, Nike, Saatchi & Saatchi, EA games, Sky Media,
Carlsberg and Toyota) and producing soundtracks for Film and TV.
